About

I am an early stage researcher originated from south west France. Since my childhood, I have cultivated a passion for the Ocean. Sailing, surfing and other water activities were part of my daily routine. Working with the marine environment was thus essential for me.

I had the chance to encounter dolphins in the wild when I was four years old and I was hooked. Over the years, I have cultivated my curiosity for marine mammals by reading books and watching documentaries. After high school, I naturally start my education to become a biologist.

My interest grew toward the ecology and evolution of polar regions marine mammals. Thus, I have oriented my studies toward these fields. I also had the opportunity to live and travel in several countries of the subarctic region.

At the moment, I live in Eastern Finland where I am conducting my Doctoral research. Finland is the perfect place for outdoor activities. There, I am also able to fulfill another of my hobbies, nature and wildlife photography.
